Meet Steve Kiss

Principal Construction Manager, Steve Kiss, has nearly three decades of professional construction experience serving the California and Hawaii communities. Steve studied and received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The New School of Architecture in San Diego and is a licensed architect in California and Hawaii. Steve prides himself in representing his clients in their construction projects.

From residential construction to health care facilities, educational facilities, libraries, recreational centers, commercial and industrial properties, Steve has over 33 years of dedicated and detailed experience in all facets of construction. 

From 1987  to 2000, Steve specialized as a Project Architect, and worked as  Project Manager in firms   specializing in public and private architecture, forensic architectural investigations,   litigation support, construction administration, and specialty consulting providing a thorough comprehension of construction project design and construction practices. Specific construction project management experience in the building sectors includes design management, estimating and budgeting, bid management and analysis, contract document development and administration, and closeout and startup management.

From 2000 to present Steve served as Construction Manager / Owner Representation for multi-million dollar custom home projects.  Most all of these projects included custom swimming pools ranging in design complexity and constructability.  Complete project coordination was provided from  the start of design through  construction with consultants,  engineers, vendors including thorough communications with Agencies and the Project Owners.

Steve also has significant experience with property condition reports, construct-ability reviews, independent estimating and scheduling , site suitability studies and has also served as the lead on several water intrusion forensic assignments. He manages the investigative teams, and develops forensic reports to substantiate the findings. ​

His local community is very special to him and he is involved with the Mission Valley Design Advisory Board, Construction Specification Institute, the Cerro De Alcala Homeowners’ Association, San Diego Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding San Diego Together.
